Gallagher Bassett, the leading provider of claims and risk management solutions, has appointed Nikki Jackson to the newly created role of Head of Learning Strategy and Emerging Talent in North America.
In her role, Nikki will lead the development and execution of innovative learning strategies that drive talent growth, engagement, and performance across the Gallagher Bassett claims organization. She'll also be responsible for shaping talent development strategy, working closely with senior leadership to ensure Gallagher Bassett attracts, develops, and retains top-tier talent across North America.
Irina Simpson, EVP — Workers' Compensation, acknowledged the need for the role and Nikki's considerable knowledge in the area, saying, "The industry at large has found a challenge in attracting and retaining top-quality talent. Nikki is a seasoned thought leader with deep expertise in adult learning, claims education, leadership development, and emerging talent strategies. I'm thrilled to be adding her experience to the team."
Nikki brings more than 18 years of experience in property and casualty insurance with her to the new role. Before joining Gallagher Bassett, Nikki was the founder and CEO of Elevate the Narrative, a consulting firm specializing in risk and insurance. Nikki has also held leadership roles in operations, strategy, and marketing with Liberty Mutual, Sedgwick, and MTI America.
Of her approach, Nikki said, "My focus is on building a high-performing team by nurturing emerging talent and creating pathways for growth within the organization.
