July 08, 2024 — Gallagher Bassett (GB), the premier claims and risk management partner for clients who seek comprehensive solutions to prevent, manage, and overcome the impact of risk, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Bower as the new Healthcare Vertical Leader, effective immediately.
Leveraging his decades of experience in the Healthcare vertical, Bill will partner with Gallagher Bassett Sales, Client Services, and Specialty teams to deliver industry-leading capabilities for brokers and clients.
Bill will be responsible for driving growth, developing solutions, and demonstrating results for Gallagher Bassett's Healthcare clients reporting directly to Mike Hessling, CEO, North America.

Prior to assuming this role, Bill led the Healthcare Practice within Gallagher Bassett Specialty, where he supported significant program wins and superior outcomes across many prominent Healthcare clients.
Earlier in his career, Bill held leadership roles in risk management for Northwestern Memorial Healthcare Corporation and as the designated claims officer for CNA's Healthpro Claims organization. Bill's experience as a claims, litigation, and risk management leader makes him uniquely qualified for this exciting new position in Gallagher Bassett.
