Tanith Jones joined Gallagher Bassett in November 2022, initially serving as the Head of People Operations where she focused on optimising HR functions and fostering a culture of collaboration. In February 2024, she was promoted to General Manager People & Culture, a role in which she continues to leverage her extensive background to provide strategic oversight and counsel to internal customers, supporting their strategic and operational objectives.

Prior to joining Gallagher Bassett, Tanith gained valuable experience at Allianz Partners from March 2021 to November 2022, where she served as an HR Business Partner and later as a HR Manager. In these roles, she was instrumental in driving HR initiatives and policies, developing global programs of work to support the business through downsizing and then upscaling with COVID-19, and improving employee engagement and retention.

Tanith's career also includes significant contributions at MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees as a People and Safety Manager and Workforce Advisor between May 2019 and March 2021 where she partnered with top tier mining companies to increase their employee diversity. She began her HR career at Coles Liquor as an Employee Relations Manager, a position she held from January 2013 to June 2018, where she honed her skills in employee relations and labour management. In addition to her corporate roles, Tanith played a pivotal role in government contract renewals, including projects with the Northern Territory Government and the Department of Transport and Main Roads, overseeing the review and update of relevant HR policies and procedures to meet specific contract requirements.
